اَلَمْ تَرَ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ يُوْلِجُ الَّيْلَ فِى النَّهَارِ وَيُوْلِجُ النَّهَارَ فِى الَّيْلِ وَسَخَّرَ الشَّمْسَ وَالْقَمَرَۖ كُلٌّ يَّجْرِيْٓ اِلٰٓى اَجَلٍ مُّسَمًّى وَّاَنَّ اللّٰهَ بِمَا تَعْمَلُوْنَ خَبِيْرٌ ( لقمان: ٢٩ )
Alam tara anna Allaha yooliju allayla fee alnnahari wayooliju alnnahara fee allayli wasakhkhara alshshamsa waalqamara kullun yajree ila ajalin musamman waanna Allaha bima ta'maloona khabeerun (Luq̈mān 31:29)

क्या तुमने देखा नहीं कि अल्लाह रात को दिन में प्रविष्ट करता है और दिन को रात में प्रविष्ट करता है। उसने सूर्य और चन्द्रमा को काम में लगा रखा है? प्रत्येक एक नियत समय तक चला जा रहा है और इसके साथ यह कि जो कुछ भी तुम करते हो, अल्लाह उसकी पूरी ख़बर रखता है
English Sahih:
Do you not see [i.e., know] that Allah causes the night to enter the day and causes the day to enter the night and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running [its course] for a specified term, and that Allah, of whatever you do, is Aware? ([31] Luqman : 29)

क्या तूने ये भी ख्याल न किया कि ख़ुदा ही रात को (बढ़ा के) दिन में दाख़िल कर देता है (तो रात बढ़ जाती है) और दिन को (बढ़ा के) रात में दाख़िल कर देता है (तो दिन बढ़ जाता है) उसी ने आफताब व माहताब को (गोया) तुम्हारा ताबेए बना दिया है कि एक मुक़र्रर मीयाद तक (यूँ ही) चलता रहेगा और (क्या तूने ये भी ख्याल न किया कि) जो कुछ तुम करते हो ख़ुदा उससे ख़ूब वाकिफकार है
