وَمَا كَانَ لِمُؤْمِنٍ وَّلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ اِذَا قَضَى اللّٰهُ وَرَسُوْلُهٗٓ اَمْرًا اَنْ يَّكُوْنَ لَهُمُ الْخِيَرَةُ مِنْ اَمْرِهِمْ ۗوَمَنْ يَّعْصِ اللّٰهَ وَرَسُوْلَهٗ فَقَدْ ضَلَّ ضَلٰلًا مُّبِيْنًاۗ ( الأحزاب: ٣٦ )
Wa maa kaana limu'mininw wa laa mu'minatin izaa qadal laahu wa Rasooluhooo amran ai yakoona lahumul khiyaratu min amrihim; wa mai ya'sil laaha wa Rasoolahoo faqad dalla dalaalam mubeenaa (al-ʾAḥzāb 33:36)
English Sahih:
It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should [thereafter] have any choice about their affair. And whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger has certainly strayed into clear error. (Al-Ahzab [33] : 36)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അല്ലാഹുവും അവന്റെ ദൂതനും ഏതെങ്കിലും കാര്യത്തില് വിധി പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചുകഴിഞ്ഞാല് സത്യവിശ്വാസിക്കോ വിശ്വാസിനിക്കോ അക്കാര്യത്തില് മറിച്ചൊരു തീരുമാനമെടുക്കാന് അവകാശമില്ല. ആരെങ്കിലും അല്ലാഹുവെയും അവന്റെ ദൂതനെയും ധിക്കരിക്കുകയാണെങ്കില് അവന് വ്യക്തമായ വഴികേടിലകപ്പെട്ടതുതന്നെ. (അല്അഹ്സാബ് [33] : 36)

അല്ലാഹുവും അവന്റെ റസൂലും ഒരു കാര്യത്തില് തീരുമാനമെടുത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞാല് സത്യവിശ്വാസിയായ ഒരു പുരുഷന്നാകട്ടെ, സ്ത്രീക്കാകട്ടെ തങ്ങളുടെ കാര്യത്തെ സംബന്ധിച്ച് സ്വതന്ത്രമായ അഭിപ്രായം ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കാവുന്നതല്ല. വല്ലവനും അല്ലാഹുവെയും അവന്റെ ദൂതനെയും ധിക്കരിക്കുന്ന പക്ഷം അവന് വ്യക്തമായ നിലയില് വഴിപിഴച്ചു പോയിരിക്കുന്നു.
