طَاعَةٌ وَّقَوْلٌ مَّعْرُوْفٌۗ فَاِذَا عَزَمَ الْاَمْرُۗ فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا اللّٰهَ لَكَانَ خَيْرًا لَّهُمْۚ ( محمد: ٢١ )
ṭāʿatun
طَاعَةٌ
(Is) obedience
അനുസരണമാണ്
waqawlun
وَقَوْلٌ
and a word
വാക്കും
maʿrūfun
مَّعْرُوفٌۚ
kind
ഉചിതമായ, സദാചാരപരമായ, നല്ല, മര്യാദപ്പെട്ട
fa-idhā ʿazama
فَإِذَا عَزَمَ
And when (is) determined
എനി തീര്‍ച്ചപ്പെട്ടാല്‍, നിശ്ചയമായാല്‍
l-amru
ٱلْأَمْرُ
the matter
കാര്യം
falaw ṣadaqū
فَلَوْ صَدَقُوا۟
then if they had been true
അപ്പോഴവര്‍ സത്യം പറയുകയാണെങ്കില്‍ (സത്യം പാലിച്ചാല്‍)
l-laha
ٱللَّهَ
(to) Allah
അല്ലാഹുവിനോടു
lakāna
لَكَانَ
surely it would have been
അതാകുമായിരുന്നു
khayran lahum
خَيْرًا لَّهُمْ
better for them
അവര്‍ക്കു ഗുണം, ഉത്തമം
Taa'atunw wa qawlum ma'roof; fa izaa 'azamal amru falaw sadaqul laaha lakaana khairal lahum (Muḥammad 47:21)
English Sahih:
Obedience and good words. And when the matter [of fighting] was determined, if they had been true to Allah, it would have been better for them. (Muhammad [47] : 21)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അനുസരണവും മാന്യമായ സംസാരവുമാണാവശ്യം. യുദ്ധകാര്യം തീരുമാനമായപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ അല്ലാഹുവോട് സത്യസന്ധത പുലര്‍ത്തിയിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍. അതാകുമായിരുന്നു അവര്‍ക്കുത്തമം. (മുഹമ്മദ് [47] : 21)
