اِنَّآ اَنْزَلْنَا التَّوْرٰىةَ فِيْهَا هُدًى وَّنُوْرٌۚ يَحْكُمُ بِهَا النَّبِيُّوْنَ الَّذِيْنَ اَسْلَمُوْا لِلَّذِيْنَ هَادُوْا وَالرَّبَّانِيُّوْنَ وَالْاَحْبَارُ بِمَا اسْتُحْفِظُوْا مِنْ كِتٰبِ اللّٰهِ وَكَانُوْا عَلَيْهِ شُهَدَاۤءَۚ فَلَا تَخْشَوُا النَّاسَ وَاخْشَوْنِ وَلَا تَشْتَرُوْا بِاٰيٰتِيْ ثَمَنًا قَلِيْلًا ۗوَمَنْ لَّمْ يَحْكُمْ بِمَآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ فَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ( المائدة: ٤٤ )
Innaaa anzalnat Tawraata feehaa hudanw wa noor; yahkumu bihan Nabiyyoonal lazeena aslamoo lillazeena haadoo war rabbaaniyyoona wal ahbaaru bimas tuhfizoo min Kitaabil laahi wa kaanoo 'alaihi shuhadaaa'; falaa takhshawun naasa wakhshawni wa laa tashtaroo bi aayaatee samanan qaleelaa; wa mal lam yahkum bimaaa anzalal laahu fa ulaaa'ika humul kaafiroon (al-Māʾidah 5:44)
English Sahih:
Indeed, We sent down the Torah, in which was guidance and light. The prophets who submitted [to Allah] judged by it for the Jews, as did the rabbis and scholars by that with which they were entrusted of the Scripture of Allah, and they were witnesses thereto. So do not fear the people but fear Me, and do not exchange My verses for a small price [i.e., worldly gain]. And whoever does not judge by what Allah has revealed – then it is those who are the disbelievers. (Al-Ma'idah [5] : 44)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നാം തന്നെയാണ് തൗറാത്ത് ഇറക്കിയത്. അതില് വെളിച്ചവും നേര്വഴിയുമുണ്ട്. അല്ലാഹുവിന് അടിപ്പെട്ടുജീവിച്ച പ്രവാചകന്മാര് യഹൂദര്ക്ക് അതനുസരിച്ച് വിധി നടത്തിയിരുന്നു. പുണ്യപുരുഷന്മാരും പണ്ഡിതന്മാരും അതുതന്നെ ചെയ്തു. കാരണം, അവരെയായിരുന്നു അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണം ഏല്പിച്ചിരുന്നത്. അവരതിന് സാക്ഷികളുമായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് ജനങ്ങളെ പേടിക്കരുത്. എന്നെ മാത്രം ഭയപ്പെടുക. എന്റെ വചനങ്ങള് നിസ്സാര വിലയ്ക്ക് വില്ക്കരുത്. ആര് അല്ലാഹു അവതരിപ്പിച്ച നിയമമനുസരിച്ച് വിധി നടത്തുന്നില്ലയോ, അവര് തന്നെയാണ് അവിശ്വാസികള്. (അല്മാഇദ [5] : 44)

തീര്ച്ചയായും നാം തന്നെയാണ് തൗറാത്ത് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. അതില് മാര്ഗദര്ശനവും പ്രകാശവുമുണ്ട്. (അല്ലാഹുവിന്) കീഴ്പെട്ട പ്രവാചകന്മാര് യഹൂദമതക്കാര്ക്ക് അതിനനുസരിച്ച് വിധികല്പിച്ചുപോന്നു. പുണ്യവാന്മാരും മതപണ്ഡിതന്മാരും (അപ്രകാരം തന്നെ വിധികല്പിച്ചിരുന്നു.) കാരണം, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ ഗ്രന്ഥത്തിന്റെ സംരക്ഷണം അവര്ക്ക് ഏല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു. അവരതിന് സാക്ഷികളുമായിരുന്നു. അതിനാല് നിങ്ങള് ജനങ്ങളെ പേടിക്കാതെ എന്നെ മാത്രം ഭയപ്പെടുക. എന്റെ വചനങ്ങള് നിങ്ങള് തുച്ഛമായ വിലയ്ക്ക് വിറ്റുകളയാതിരിക്കുക. അല്ലാഹു അവതരിപ്പിച്ച് തന്നതനുസരിച്ച് ആര് വിധിക്കുന്നില്ലയോ അവര് തന്നെയാകുന്നു അവിശ്വാസികള്.
