وَلَقَدْ اَرْسَلْنَا نُوْحًا وَّاِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَجَعَلْنَا فِيْ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالْكِتٰبَ فَمِنْهُمْ مُّهْتَدٍۚ وَكَثِيْرٌ مِّنْهُمْ فٰسِقُوْنَ ( الحديد: ٢٦ )
Wa laqad arsalnaa Noohanw wa Ibraaheema wa ja'alnaa fee zurriyyatihiman nubuwwata wal Kitaaba faminhum muhtad; wa kaseerum minhum faasiqoon (al-Ḥadīd 57:26)
English Sahih:
And We have already sent Noah and Abraham and placed in their descendants prophethood and scripture; and among them is he who is guided, but many of them are defiantly disobedient. (Al-Hadid [57] : 26)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നിശ്ചയമായും നാം നൂഹിനെയും ഇബ്റാഹീമിനെയും ദൂതന്മാരായി നിയോഗിച്ചു. അവരിരുവരുടെയും സന്തതികളില് പ്രവാചകത്വവും വേദഗ്രന്ഥവും നല്കി. അവരില് നേര്വഴി പ്രാപിച്ചവരുണ്ട്. എന്നാല് ഏറെപ്പേരും കുറ്റവാളികളായിരുന്നു. (അല്ഹദീദ് [57] : 26)

തീര്ച്ചയായും നാം നൂഹിനെയും ഇബ്റാഹീമിനെയും (ദൂതന്മാരായി) നിയോഗിച്ചു. അവര് ഇരുവരുടെയും സന്തതികളില് പ്രവാചകത്വവും വേദഗ്രന്ഥവും നാം ഏര്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. അങ്ങനെ അവരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തില് സന്മാര്ഗം പ്രാപിച്ചവരുണ്ട്. അവരില് അധികപേരും ദുര്മാര്ഗികളാകുന്നു.
