قُلْ اَغَيْرَ اللّٰهِ اَتَّخِذُ وَلِيًّا فَاطِرِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ وَهُوَ يُطْعِمُ وَلَا يُطْعَمُ ۗ قُلْ اِنِّيْٓ اُمِرْتُ اَنْ اَكُوْنَ اَوَّلَ مَنْ اَسْلَمَ وَلَا تَكُوْنَنَّ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ ( الأنعام: ١٤ )
Qul aghairal laahi attakhizu waliyyan faatiris samaawaati wal ardi wa Huwa yut'imu wa laa yut'am; qul inneee umirtu an akoona awwala man salama wa laa takoonanna minal mushrikeen (al-ʾAnʿām 6:14)
English Sahih:
Say, "Is it other than Allah I should take as a protector, Creator of the heavens and earth, while it is He who feeds and is not fed?" Say, [O Muhammad], "Indeed, I have been commanded to be the first [among you] who submit [to Allah] and [was commanded], 'Do not ever be of the polytheists." (Al-An'am [6] : 14)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ചോദിക്കുക: അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ മറ്റാരെയെങ്കിലും ഞാന് രക്ഷകനായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ? അവനാണ് ആകാശഭൂമികളുടെ സ്രഷ്ടാവ്. അവന് അന്നം നല്കുന്നു. എന്നാല് ആരും അവന്ന് അന്നം നല്കുന്നുമില്ല. പറയുക: ''അല്ലാഹുവിനെ അനുസരിച്ച് ജീവിക്കുന്നവരില് ഒന്നാമനാകാനാണ് എന്നോട് കല്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഒരിക്കലും ബഹുദൈവ വിശ്വാസികളില് പെട്ടുപോകാതിരിക്കാനും.'' (അല്അന്ആം [6] : 14)

പറയുക: ആകാശങ്ങളുടെയും ഭൂമിയുടെയും സ്രഷ്ടാവായ അല്ലാഹുവെയല്ലാതെ ഞാന് രക്ഷാധികാരിയായി സ്വീകരിക്കുകയോ? അവനാകട്ടെ ആഹാരം നല്കുന്നു. അവന്ന് ആഹാരം നല്കപ്പെടുകയില്ല. പറയുക: തീര്ച്ചയായും അല്ലാഹുവിന് കീഴ്പെട്ടവരില് ഒന്നാമനായിരിക്കുവാനാണ് ഞാന് കല്പിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുള്ളത്. നീ ഒരിക്കലും ബഹുദൈവാരാധകരില് പെട്ടുപോകരുത്.
