وَلَوْ تَرٰٓى اِذْ وُقِفُوْا عَلَى النَّارِ فَقَالُوْا يٰلَيْتَنَا نُرَدُّ وَلَا نُكَذِّبَ بِاٰيٰتِ رَبِّنَا وَنَكُوْنَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ ( الأنعام: ٢٧ )
Wa law taraaa iz wauqifoo 'alan Naari faqaaloo yaa laitanaa nuraddu wa laa nukaz ziba bi Aayaati Rabbinaa wa nakoona minal mu'mineen (al-ʾAnʿām 6:27)
English Sahih:
If you could but see when they are made to stand before the Fire and will say, "Oh, would that we could be returned [to life on earth] and not deny the signs of our Lord and be among the believers." (Al-An'am [6] : 27)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരെ നരകത്തിനു മുന്നില്‍ കൊണ്ടുവന്ന് നിര്‍ത്തുന്നത് നീ കണ്ടിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍! അപ്പോഴവര്‍ കേണുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കും: ''ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഭൂമിയിലേക്ക് തിരിച്ചയക്കപ്പെടുകയും അങ്ങനെ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാഥന്റെ തെളിവുകളെ തള്ളിക്കളയാതെ സത്യവിശ്വാസികളായിത്തീരുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നെങ്കില്‍!'' (അല്‍അന്‍ആം [6] : 27)

അവര്‍ നരകത്തിങ്കല്‍ നിര്‍ത്തപ്പെടുന്ന രംഗം നീ കണ്ടിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍! അപ്പോള്‍ അവര്‍ പറയും: ഞങ്ങള്‍ (ഇഹലോകത്തേക്ക്) ഒന്നു തിരിച്ചയക്കപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നുവെങ്കില്‍ എത്ര നന്നായിരുന്നേനെ. എങ്കില്‍ ഞങ്ങള്‍ ഞങ്ങളുടെ രക്ഷിതാവിന്‍റെ ദൃഷ്ടാന്തങ്ങള്‍ തള്ളിക്കളയാതിരിക്കുകയും, ഞങ്ങള്‍ സത്യവിശ്വാസികളുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിലാവുകയും ചെയ്യുമായിരുന്നു.
