قَالَ اَلْقُوْاۚ فَلَمَّآ اَلْقَوْا سَحَرُوْٓا اَعْيُنَ النَّاسِ وَاسْتَرْهَبُوْهُمْ وَجَاۤءُوْ بِسِحْرٍ عَظِيْمٍ ( الأعراف: ١١٦ )

قَالَ
He said
അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു
alqū
أَلْقُوا۟ۖ
"Throw"
നിങ്ങള്‍ ഇട്ടുകൊള്ളുവിന്‍
falammā alqaw
فَلَمَّآ أَلْقَوْا۟
Then when they threw
അങ്ങനെ അവര്‍ ഇട്ടപ്പോള്‍
saḥarū
سَحَرُوٓا۟
they bewitched
അവര്‍ പകിട്ടാക്കി, മായത്തിലാക്കി
aʿyuna l-nāsi
أَعْيُنَ ٱلنَّاسِ
(the) eyes (of) the people
മനുഷ്യരുടെ കണ്ണുകളെ
wa-is'tarhabūhum
وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ
and terrified them
അവരെ അവര്‍ പേടിപ്പെടുത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു
wajāū
وَجَآءُو
and came (up)
അവര്‍ വരുകയും ചെയ്തു
bisiḥ'rin
بِسِحْرٍ
with a magic
ഒരു ജാലവിദ്യയുമായി
ʿaẓīmin
عَظِيمٍ
great
വമ്പിച്ചതായ.
Qaala alqoo falam maaa alqaw saharooo a'yunannaasi wastarhaboohum wa jaaa'oo bisihrin 'azeem (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:116)
English Sahih:
He said, "Throw," and when they threw, they bewitched the eyes of the people and struck terror into them, and they presented a great [feat of] magic. (Al-A'raf [7] : 116)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
മൂസാ പറഞ്ഞു: ''നിങ്ങള്‍ തന്നെ എറിഞ്ഞുകൊള്ളുക.'' അവര്‍ വടിയെറിഞ്ഞു. അവര്‍ ആളുകളുടെ കണ്ണുകളെ മാരണം ചെയ്യുകയും അവരില്‍ ഭീതിയുണര്‍ത്തുകയും ചെയ്തു. ഗംഭീരമായ മായാജാലമാണ് അവര്‍ കാണിച്ചത്. (അല്‍അഅ്റാഫ് [7] : 116)
