وَقَطَّعْنٰهُمْ فِى الْاَرْضِ اُمَمًاۚ مِنْهُمُ الصّٰلِحُوْنَ وَمِنْهُمْ دُوْنَ ذٰلِكَ ۖوَبَلَوْنٰهُمْ بِالْحَسَنٰتِ وَالسَّيِّاٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُوْنَ ( الأعراف: ١٦٨ )
Wa qatta'naahum fil ardi umamam minhumus aalihoona wa min hum doona zaalika wa balawnaahum bilhasanaati wassaiyi aati la'allahum yarji'oon (al-ʾAʿrāf 7:168)
English Sahih:
And We divided them throughout the earth into nations. Of them some were righteous, and of them some were otherwise. And We tested them with good [times] and bad that perhaps they would return [to obedience]. (Al-A'raf [7] : 168)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഭൂമിയില് അവരെ നാം പല സമൂഹങ്ങളായി വിഭജിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. അവരില് സജ്ജനങ്ങളുണ്ട്. നേരെമറിച്ചുള്ളവരുമുണ്ട്. നാം അവരെ ഗുണദോഷങ്ങളാല് പരീക്ഷിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ഒരുവേള അവര് തിരിച്ചുവന്നെങ്കിലോ. (അല്അഅ്റാഫ് [7] : 168)
