وَلَا تَكُوْنُوْا كَالَّذِيْنَ خَرَجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بَطَرًا وَّرِئَاۤءَ النَّاسِ وَيَصُدُّوْنَ عَنْ سَبِيْلِ اللّٰهِ ۗوَاللّٰهُ بِمَايَعْمَلُوْنَ مُحِيْطٌ ( الأنفال: ٤٧ )
Wa laa takoonoo kallazeena kharajoo min diyaarihim bataranw wa ri'aaa'an naasi wa yasuddoona 'an sabeelil laah; wallaahu bimaa ya'maloona muheet (al-ʾAnfāl 8:47)
English Sahih:
And do not be like those who came forth from their homes insolently and to be seen by people and avert [them] from the way of Allah. And Allah is encompassing of what they do. (Al-Anfal [8] : 47)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെയും ജനങ്ങളെ കാണിക്കാനും അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില്നിന്ന് ജനത്തെ തടയാനുമായി വീട് വിട്ടിറങ്ങിപ്പോന്നവരെപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങളാകരുത്. അവര് ചെയ്യുന്നതൊക്കെയും നന്നായി നിരീക്ഷിക്കുന്നവനാണ് അല്ലാഹു. (അല്അന്ഫാല് [8] : 47)

ഗര്വ്വോട് കൂടിയും, ജനങ്ങളെ കാണിക്കാന് വേണ്ടിയും, അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ മാര്ഗത്തില് നിന്ന് (ജനങ്ങളെ) തടഞ്ഞുനിര്ത്താന് വേണ്ടിയും തങ്ങളുടെ വീടുകളില് നിന്ന് ഇറങ്ങിപ്പുറപ്പെട്ടവരെപ്പോലെ നിങ്ങളാകരുത്. അല്ലാഹു അവര് പ്രവര്ത്തിക്കുന്നതെല്ലാം സൂക്ഷ്മമായി അറിയുന്നവനാകുന്നു.
