فَاِمَّا تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ فِى الْحَرْبِ فَشَرِّدْ بِهِمْ مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَذَّكَّرُوْنَ ( الأنفال: ٥٧ )
fa-immā
فَإِمَّا
So if
അപ്പോള്, വല്ലപ്പോഴുമെങ്കില്
tathqafannahum
تَثْقَفَنَّهُمْ
you gain dominance over them
അവരെ നീ കണ്ടെത്തുന്നുവെങ്കില്
fī l-ḥarbi
فِى ٱلْحَرْبِ
in the war
യുദ്ധത്തില് വെച്ചു
fasharrid
فَشَرِّدْ
disperse
എന്നാല് നീ തുരത്തിക്കളയുക
bihim
بِهِم
by them
അവര് മൂലം, അവരെക്കൊണ്ടു
man khalfahum
مَّنْ خَلْفَهُمْ
(those) who (are) behind them
അവരുടെ പിമ്പിളുള്ളവരെ
laʿallahum
لَعَلَّهُمْ
so that they may
അവരായേക്കാം
yadhakkarūna
يَذَّكَّرُونَ
take heed
അവര് ഉറ്റാലോചിക്കും
Fa immaa tasqafannahum fil harbi fasharrid bihim man khalfahum la'allahum yazzakkaroon (al-ʾAnfāl 8:57)
English Sahih:
So if you, [O Muhammad], gain dominance over them in war, disperse by [means of] them those behind them that perhaps they will be reminded. (Al-Anfal [8] : 57)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അതിനാല് നീ യുദ്ധത്തില് അവരുമായി സന്ധിച്ചാല് അവരിലെ പിറകിലുള്ളവരെക്കൂടി വിരട്ടിയോടിക്കുംവിധം അവരെ നേരിടുക. അവര്ക്കതൊരു പാഠമായെങ്കിലോ. (അല്അന്ഫാല് [8] : 57)
