يُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ يُّطْفِـُٔوْا نُوْرَ اللّٰهِ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَيَأْبَى اللّٰهُ اِلَّآ اَنْ يُّتِمَّ نُوْرَهٗ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٣٢ )
yurīdūna
يُرِيدُونَ
They want
അവര്‍ ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നു
an yuṭ'fiū
أَن يُطْفِـُٔوا۟
to extinguish
അവര്‍ കെടുത്തുവാന്‍
nūra l-lahi
نُورَ ٱللَّهِ
Allah's light Allah's light
അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പ്രകാശ (വെളിച്ച)ത്തെ
bi-afwāhihim
بِأَفْوَٰهِهِمْ
with their mouths
അവരുടെ വായകള്‍കൊണ്ട്‌
wayabā l-lahu
وَيَأْبَى ٱللَّهُ
but Allah refuses but Allah refuses
അല്ലാഹു വിസമ്മതിക്കുക (വെറുക്കുക)യും ചെയ്യുന്നു
illā an yutimma
إِلَّآ أَن يُتِمَّ
except to perfect
അവന്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കുന്നതിനല്ലാതെ
nūrahu
نُورَهُۥ
His Light
തന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തെ
walaw kariha
وَلَوْ كَرِهَ
even if the disbelievers dislike (it)
വെറുത്താലും ശരി, അതൃപ്‌തിപ്പെട്ടാലും
l-kāfirūna
ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ
the disbelievers dislike (it)
അവിശ്വാസികള്‍
Yureedoona ai yutfi'oo nooral laahi bi'afwaahihim wa yaaballaahu illaaa ai yutimma noorahoo wa law karihal kaafiroon (at-Tawbah 9:32)
English Sahih:
They want to extinguish the light of Allah with their mouths, but Allah refuses except to perfect His light, although the disbelievers dislike it. (At-Tawbah [9] : 32)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
തങ്ങളുടെ വായകൊണ്ട് അല്ലാഹുവിന്റെ പ്രകാശത്തെ ഊതിക്കെടുത്താനാണ് അവരുദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്. എന്നാല്‍ അല്ലാഹു തന്റെ പ്രകാശം പൂര്‍ണതയിലെത്തിക്കാതിരിക്കില്ല. സത്യനിഷേധികള്‍ക്ക് അതെത്ര തന്നെ അരോചകമാണെങ്കിലും! (അത്തൗബ [9] : 32)
