اَلْمُنٰفِقُوْنَ وَالْمُنٰفِقٰتُ بَعْضُهُمْ مِّنْۢ بَعْضٍۘ يَأْمُرُوْنَ بِالْمُنْكَرِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمَعْرُوْفِ وَيَقْبِضُوْنَ اَيْدِيَهُمْۗ نَسُوا اللّٰهَ فَنَسِيَهُمْ ۗ اِنَّ الْمُنٰفِقِيْنَ هُمُ الْفٰسِقُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٦٧ )
Almunaafiqoona wal munaafiqaatu ba'duhum mim ba'd; yaamuroona bilmunkari wa yanhawna 'anil ma'roofi wa yaqbidoona aidiyahum; nasul laaha fanasiyahum; innal munaafiqeena humul faasiqoon (at-Tawbah 9:67)
English Sahih:
The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another. They enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right and close their hands. They have forgotten Allah, so He has forgotten them [accordingly]. Indeed, the hypocrites – it is they who are the defiantly disobedient. (At-Tawbah [9] : 67)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
കപടവിശ്വാസികളായ സ്ത്രീകളും പുരുഷന്മാരും ഒരേ തരക്കാര് തന്നെ. അവര് തിന്മ കല്പിക്കുന്നു. നന്മ വിലക്കുന്നു. അവര് ധനം നല്ല മാര്ഗത്തില് ചെലവഴിക്കാതെ തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകള് മുറുക്കിപ്പിടിക്കുന്നു. അവര് അല്ലാഹുവെ മറന്നു. അതിനാല് അവന് അവരെയും മറന്നു. സംശയമില്ല; കപടവിശ്വാസികള് അധാര്മികര് തന്നെ. (അത്തൗബ [9] : 67)

കപടവിശ്വാസികളും കപടവിശ്വാസിനികളും എല്ലാം ഒരേ തരക്കാരാകുന്നു. അവര് ദുരാചാരം കല്പിക്കുകയും, സദാചാരത്തില് നിന്ന് വിലക്കുകയും, തങ്ങളുടെ കൈകള് അവര് പിന്വലിക്കുകയും[1] ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവര് അല്ലാഹുവെ മറന്നു. അപ്പോള് അവന് അവരെയും മറന്നു. തീര്ച്ചയായും കപടവിശ്വാസികള് തന്നെയാണ് ധിക്കാരികള്.
[1] അവര് കടുത്ത പിശുക്ക് കാണിക്കുമെന്നര്ത്ഥം.
