اَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَاُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّعَادٍ وَّثَمُوْدَ ەۙ وَقَوْمِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَاَصْحٰبِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِۗ اَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِۚ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٧٠ )
Alam yaatihim naba ul lazeena min qablihim qawmi Noohinw wa 'Aadinw wa Samooda wa qawmi Ibraaheema wa ashaabi adyana walmu'tafikaat; atathum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati famaa kaanal laahu liyazlimahum wa laakin kaanooo anfusahum yazlimoon (at-Tawbah 9:70)
English Sahih:
Has there not reached them the news of those before them – the people of Noah and [the tribes of] Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions [i.e., dwellers] of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. (At-Tawbah [9] : 70)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
ഇവരുടെ മുന്ഗാമികളുടെ വൃത്താന്തം ഇവര്ക്ക് വന്നെത്തിയിട്ടില്ലേ? നൂഹിന്റെയും ആദിന്റെയും സമൂദിന്റെയും സമുദായങ്ങളുടെയും ഇബ്റാഹീമിന്റെ ജനതയുടെയും മദ്യന്കാരുടെയും കീഴ്മേല് മറിക്കപ്പെട്ട നാടുകളുടെയും കഥ! അവരിലേക്കുള്ള ദൈവദൂതന്മാര് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളുമായി അവരെ സമീപിച്ചു. അപ്പോള് അല്ലാഹു അവരോട് ഒരു ദ്രോഹവും കാണിച്ചില്ല. എന്നാല് അവര് തങ്ങളെത്തന്നെ ദ്രോഹിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. (അത്തൗബ [9] : 70)

ഇവര്ക്ക് മുമ്പുള്ളവരുടെ വൃത്താന്തം ഇവര്ക്കു വന്നെത്തിയില്ലേ? അതായത് നൂഹിന്റെ ജനതയുടെയും, ആദ്, ഥമൂദ് ജനവിഭാഗങ്ങളുടെയും, ഇബ്രാഹീമിന്റെ ജനതയുടെയും മദ്യൻകാരുടെയും കീഴ്മേല് മറിഞ്ഞ രാജ്യങ്ങളുടെയും[1] (വൃത്താന്തം.) അവരിലേക്കുള്ള ദൂതന്മാര് വ്യക്തമായ തെളിവുകളും കൊണ്ട് അവരുടെ അടുത്ത് ചെല്ലുകയുണ്ടായി. അപ്പോള് അല്ലാഹു അവരോട് അക്രമം കാണിക്കുകയുണ്ടായില്ല. പക്ഷെ, അവര് അവരോടു തന്നെ അക്രമം കാണിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു.
[1] ലൂത്ത് നബി(عليه السلام)യുടെ ജനത താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന സൊദോം രാജ്യമാണ് അല്ലാഹുവിൻ്റെ ശിക്ഷയാല് കീഴ്മേല് മറിക്കപ്പെട്ടത്.
