اِسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ اَوْ لَا تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْۗ اِنْ تَسْتَغْفِرْ لَهُمْ سَبْعِيْنَ مَرَّةً فَلَنْ يَّغْفِرَ اللّٰهُ لَهُمْ ۗذٰلِكَ بِاَنَّهُمْ كَفَرُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَرَسُوْلِهٖۗ وَاللّٰهُ لَا يَهْدِى الْقَوْمَ الْفٰسِقِيْنَ ࣖ ( التوبة: ٨٠ )
istaghfir lahum aw laa tastaghfir lahum in tastaghfir lahum sab'eena marratan falany yaghfiral laahu lahum; zaalika bi annahum kafaroo billaahi wa Rasoolih; wallaahu laa yahdil qawmal faasiqeen (at-Tawbah 9:80)
English Sahih:
Ask forgiveness for them, [O Muhammad], or do not ask forgiveness for them. If you should ask forgiveness for them seventy times – never will Allah forgive them. That is because they disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger, and Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people. (At-Tawbah [9] : 80)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
നീ അവര്ക്കുവേണ്ടി മാപ്പപേക്ഷിക്കുകയോ അപേക്ഷിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയോ ചെയ്യുക. നീ അവര്ക്കുവേണ്ടി എഴുപതു പ്രാവശ്യം പാപമോചനത്തിനു പ്രാര്ഥിച്ചാലും അല്ലാഹു അവര്ക്ക് പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയില്ല. കാരണം അല്ലാഹുവെയും അവന്റെ ദൂതനെയും തള്ളിപ്പറഞ്ഞവരാണവര്. അധാര്മികരായ ആളുകളെ അല്ലാഹു നേര്വഴിയിലാക്കുകയില്ല. (അത്തൗബ [9] : 80)
1 Abdul Hameed/Parappoor (അബ്ദുല് ഹമീദ് & പറപ്പൂര്)
(നബിയേ,) നീ അവര്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പാപമോചനം തേടിക്കൊള്ളുക. അല്ലെങ്കില് അവര്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി പാപമോചനം തേടാതിരിക്കുക. നീ അവര്ക്ക് വേണ്ടി എഴുപത് പ്രാവശ്യം പാപമോചനം തേടിയാലും അല്ലാഹു അവര്ക്ക് പൊറുത്തുകൊടുക്കുകയില്ല. അവര് അല്ലാഹുവിലും അവന്റെ ദൂതനിലും അവിശ്വസിച്ചത് കൊണ്ടത്രെ അത്. ധിക്കാരികളായ ജനങ്ങളെ അല്ലാഹു നേര്വഴിയിലാക്കുകയില്ല.
