وَلَا تُعْجِبْكَ اَمْوَالُهُمْ وَاَوْلَادُهُمْۗ اِنَّمَا يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ اَنْ يُّعَذِّبَهُمْ بِهَا فِى الدُّنْيَا وَتَزْهَقَ اَنْفُسُهُمْ وَهُمْ كٰفِرُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٨٥ )
Wa laa tu'jibka amwaa luhum wa awlaaduhum; innamaa yureedul laahu ai yu'az zibahum bihaa fid dunyaa wa tazhaqa anfusuhum wa hum kaafiroon (at-Tawbah 9:85)
English Sahih:
And let not their wealth and their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in this world and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers. (At-Tawbah [9] : 85)
Karakunnu/Elayavoor (കാരകുന്ന് & എളയാവൂര്):
അവരുടെ സമ്പത്തും സന്താനങ്ങളും നിന്നെ വിസ്മയിപ്പിക്കാതിരിക്കട്ടെ. അവയിലൂടെ അവരെ ഇഹലോകത്തുവെച്ചുതന്നെ ശിക്ഷിക്കണമെന്നാണ് അല്ലാഹു ഉദ്ദേശിക്കുന്നത്. സത്യനിഷേധികളായിരിക്കെത്തന്നെ അവര് ജീവന് വെടിയണമെന്നും. (അത്തൗബ [9] : 85)
