مَا يَوَدُّ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ اَهْلِ الْكِتٰبِ وَلَا الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ اَنْ يُّنَزَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ مِّنْ خَيْرٍ مِّنْ رَّبِّكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ يَخْتَصُّ بِرَحْمَتِهٖ مَنْ يَّشَاۤءُ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيْمِ ( البقرة: ١٠٥ )
Maa yawaddul lazeena kafaroo min ahlil kitaabi wa lal mushrikeena ai-yunazzala 'alaikum min khairim mir Rabbikum; wallaahu yakhtassu birahmatihee mai-yashaaa; wallaahu zul fadlil'azeem (al-Baq̈arah 2:105)
English Sahih:
Neither those who disbelieve from the People of the Scripture [i.e., the Jews and Christians] nor the polytheists wish that any good should be sent down to you from your Lord. But Allah selects for His mercy whom He wills, and Allah is the possessor of great bounty. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 105)
Sherif Ahmeti:
As ata, ithtarët e librit që nuk besuan, e as idhujtarët nuk duan që juve të ju vijë ndonjë e mirë nga Zoti juaj. Mirëpo, All-llahu me mëshirën e vet veçon atë që dëshiron, All-llahu është Zot i mirësisë së madhe (Al-Baqarah [2] : 105)
