وَاقْتَرَبَ الْوَعْدُ الْحَقُّ فَاِذَا هِيَ شَاخِصَةٌ اَبْصَارُ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْاۗ يٰوَيْلَنَا قَدْ كُنَّا فِيْ غَفْلَةٍ مِّنْ هٰذَا بَلْ كُنَّا ظٰلِمِيْنَ ( الأنبياء: ٩٧ )
Waqtarabal wa'dul haqqu fa-izaa hiya shaakhisatun absaarul lazeena kafaroo yaawailanaa qad kunna fee ghaflatim min haaza bal kunnaa zaalimeen (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:97)
English Sahih:
And [when] the true promise [i.e., the resurrection] has approached; then suddenly the eyes of those who disbelieved will be staring [in horror, while they say], "O woe to us; we had been unmindful of this; rather, we were wrongdoers." (Al-Anbya [21] : 97)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Dhe derisa të jetë afruar premtimi i saktë (dita e kijametit) e ai është momenti kur mbeten të shtangët sytë e atyre që nuk besuan (në ato çaste thonë): “Të mjerët ne, vërtet ishim krejt të pavetëdijshëm për këtë (momment); por jo, është e vërtetë se ishim zullumqarë të mëdhenj (Al-Anbya [21] : 97)
