۞ اِنَّ قَارُوْنَ كَانَ مِنْ قَوْمِ مُوْسٰى فَبَغٰى عَلَيْهِمْ ۖوَاٰتَيْنٰهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوْزِ مَآ اِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهٗ لَتَنُوْۤاُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ اُولِى الْقُوَّةِ اِذْ قَالَ لَهٗ قَوْمُهٗ لَا تَفْرَحْ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِيْنَ ( القصص: ٧٦ )
Inna Qaaroona kaana min qawmi Moosaa fabaghaaa 'alaihim wa aatainaahu minal kunoozi maaa inna mafaati hahoo latanooo'u bil'usbati ulil quwwati iz qaala lahoo qawmuhoo laa tafrah innal laahaa laa yuhibbul fariheen (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:76)
English Sahih:
Indeed, Qarun was from the people of Moses, but he tyrannized them. And We gave him of treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men; thereupon his people said to him, "Do not exult. Indeed, Allah does not like the exultant. (Al-Qasas [28] : 76)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Karuni ishte nga populli i Musait dhe ai shtypte atë popull ngase Ne i patëm dhënë aq shumë pasuri sa që një grup i fuqishëm mezi bartin çelësat e (pasurisë së) tij, e kur populli i vet i tha: “Mos u kreno aq fortë sepse All-llahu nuk i do të shfrenuarit!” (Al-Qasas [28] : 76)

Karuni ka qenë nga populli i Musaut dhe e ka shtypur (atë popull), dhe ne i patëm dhënë aq pasuri sa çelësat e tij me vështirësi i kanë bartur disa vetë të fortë; prandaj populli i thoshte: “Mos u entuziazmo, sepse, All-llahu nuk i do ata që janë shumë të gëzuar
