فَاَمَّا عَادٌ فَاسْتَكْبَرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ بِغَيْرِ الْحَقِّ وَقَالُوْا مَنْ اَشَدُّ مِنَّا قُوَّةً ۗ اَوَلَمْ يَرَوْا اَنَّ اللّٰهَ الَّذِيْ خَلَقَهُمْ هُوَ اَشَدُّ مِنْهُمْ قُوَّةً ۗ وَكَانُوْا بِاٰيٰتِنَا يَجْحَدُوْنَ ( فصلت: ١٥ )
Fa ammaa 'Aadun fastak baroo fil ardi bighairul haqqi wa qaaloo man ashaddu minnaa quwwatan awalam yaraw annal laahal lazee khalaqahum Huwa ashaddu minhum quwwatanw wa kaanoo bi Aayaatinaa yajhadoon (Fuṣṣilat 41:15)
English Sahih:
As for Aad, they were arrogant upon the earth without right and said, "Who is greater than us in strength?" Did they not consider that Allah who created them was greater than them in strength? But they were rejecting Our signs. (Fussilat [41] : 15)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Sa i përket Adit, ata pa pasur kurrfarë të drejte, u treguan mendjemdhënj ndaj banorëve në tokë dhe thanë: “Kush ka fuqi më të fortë se ne?” A nuk e diten ata se All-llahu, i cili i krijoi ka fuqi më të fortë se ata?! Ata mohuan argumentet tona (Fussilat [41] : 15)
