اِنْ هِيَ اِلَّآ اَسْمَاۤءٌ سَمَّيْتُمُوْهَآ اَنْتُمْ وَاٰبَاۤؤُكُمْ مَّآ اَنْزَلَ اللّٰهُ بِهَا مِنْ سُلْطٰنٍۗ اِنْ يَّتَّبِعُوْنَ اِلَّا الظَّنَّ وَمَا تَهْوَى الْاَنْفُسُۚ وَلَقَدْ جَاۤءَهُمْ مِّنْ رَّبِّهِمُ الْهُدٰىۗ ( النجم: ٢٣ )
In hiya illaaa asmaaa'un sammaitumoohaaa antum wa aabaaa'ukum maaa anzalal laahu bihaa min sultaan; inyyattabi'oona illaz zanna wa maa tahwal anfusu wa laqad jaaa'ahum mir Rabbihimul hudaa (an-Najm 53:23)
English Sahih:
They are not but [mere] names you have named them – you and your forefathers – for which Allah has sent down no authority. They follow not except assumption and what [their] souls desire, and there has already come to them from their Lord guidance. (An-Najm [53] : 23)
Sherif Ahmeti:
Ata (që i adhuroni) nuk janë tjetër, vetëm se emra që ju dhe prindërit tuaj i emërtuat; All-llahu nuk zbriti për ta ndonjë fakt. Por ata (idhujtarët), nuk ndjekin tjetër vetëm se paragjykime dhe çka duan vetë, megji-thqë prej Zotit të tyre u pat ardhur udhëzimi (An-Najm [53] : 23)
