اَلَمْ يَأْتِهِمْ نَبَاُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْ قَوْمِ نُوْحٍ وَّعَادٍ وَّثَمُوْدَ ەۙ وَقَوْمِ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَاَصْحٰبِ مَدْيَنَ وَالْمُؤْتَفِكٰتِۗ اَتَتْهُمْ رُسُلُهُمْ بِالْبَيِّنٰتِۚ فَمَا كَانَ اللّٰهُ لِيَظْلِمَهُمْ وَلٰكِنْ كَانُوْٓا اَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٧٠ )
Alam yaatihim naba ul lazeena min qablihim qawmi Noohinw wa 'Aadinw wa Samooda wa qawmi Ibraaheema wa ashaabi adyana walmu'tafikaat; atathum Rusuluhum bilbaiyinaati famaa kaanal laahu liyazlimahum wa laakin kaanooo anfusahum yazlimoon (at-Tawbah 9:70)
English Sahih:
Has there not reached them the news of those before them – the people of Noah and [the tribes of] Aad and Thamud and the people of Abraham and the companions [i.e., dwellers] of Madyan and the towns overturned? Their messengers came to them with clear proofs. And Allah would never have wronged them, but they were wronging themselves. (At-Tawbah [9] : 70)
Sherif Ahmeti:
A nuk u arrijti atyre lajmi i atyre që ishin më heret si: i popullit të Nuhut, i Adit, i Themudit, i popullit të Ibrahimit, i atyre të Medjemit dhe i të rrotulluarve (populli i Lutit). Atyre u patën ardhur të dërguarit e tyre me argumente. All-llahu (që i shkatërroi) nuk ua bëri atyre padrejtë, por ata ia bënë padrejtë vetes (At-Tawbah [9] : 70)

A nuk u arriti atyre lajmi për ata përpara tyre: për popullin e Nuhit, edhe për Adin, për Themudin edhe për popullin e Ibrahimit, edhe për banorët e Medjenit, edhe për popullin e Lutit. Profetët e tyre u patën sjellë argumente të qarta dhe All-llahu nuk u ka bërë asnjë padrejtësi, por ata i kanë bërë mizori vetes
