لَخَلْقُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ اَكْبَرُ مِنْ خَلْقِ النَّاسِ وَلٰكِنَّ اَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ( غافر: ٥٧ )
Surely (the) creation
لَخَلْقُ
படைப்பதுதான்
(of) the heavens
ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ
வானங்களையும்
and the earth
وَٱلْأَرْضِ
பூமியையும்
(is) greater
أَكْبَرُ
மிகப் பெரியது
than (the) creation
مِنْ خَلْقِ
படைப்பதைவிட
(of) the mankind
ٱلنَّاسِ
மனிதர்களை
but
وَلَٰكِنَّ
என்றாலும்
most
أَكْثَرَ
அதிகமானவர்கள்
(of) the people
ٱلنَّاسِ
மனிதர்களில்
(do) not know
لَا يَعْلَمُونَ
அறியமாட்டார்கள்
Lakhalqus samaawaati wal ardi akbaru min khalqin naasi wa laakinna aksaran naasi laa ya'lamoon (Ghāfir 40:57)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
வானங்களையும் பூமியையும் படைத்திருப்பது, (இறந்த) மனிதர்களை (மறு முறை) படைப்பதைவிட நிச்சயமாக மிகப் பெரிய காரியமாகும். ஆயினும், மனிதர்களில் பெரும்பாலானவர்கள் இவ்வளவுகூட அறிந்து கொள்வதில்லை.
English Sahih:
The creation of the heavens and earth is greater than the creation of mankind, but most of the people do not know. ([40] Ghafir : 57)
