وَقَالَتِ الْيَهُوْدُ عُزَيْرُ ِۨابْنُ اللّٰهِ وَقَالَتِ النَّصٰرَى الْمَسِيْحُ ابْنُ اللّٰهِ ۗذٰلِكَ قَوْلُهُمْ بِاَفْوَاهِهِمْۚ يُضَاهِـُٔوْنَ قَوْلَ الَّذِيْنَ كَفَرُوْا مِنْ قَبْلُ ۗقَاتَلَهُمُ اللّٰهُ ۚ اَنّٰى يُؤْفَكُوْنَ ( التوبة: ٣٠ )
Q qaalatil yahoodu 'Uzairunib nul laahi wa qaalatin Nasaaral Maseehub nul laahi zaalika qawluhum bi afwaahihim yudaahi'oona qawlal lazeena kafaroo min qabl; qatalahumul laah; annaa yu'fakoon (at-Tawbah 9:30)
Abdul Hameed Baqavi:
யூதர்கள் (நபி) "உஜைரை" அல்லாஹ்வுடைய மகன் என்று கூறுகின்றனர். (இவ்வாறே) கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் "மஸீஹை" அல்லாஹ்வுடைய மகன் என்று கூறுகின்றனர். இவர்கள் தங்கள் வாய்களால் கூறும் இக்கூற்றானது இவர்களுக்கு முன்னிருந்த நிராகரிப்பவர்களின் கூற்றையே ஒத்திருக்கின்றது. அல்லாஹ் இவர்களை அழித்து விடுவான். (சத்தியத்தைப் புறக்கணித்து) இவர்கள் எங்கு வெருண்டோடுகின்றனர்?
English Sahih:
The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah"; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." That is their statement from their mouths; they imitate the saying of those who disbelieved before [them]. May Allah destroy them; how are they deluded? ([9] At-Tawbah : 30)

யூதர்கள் (நபி) உஜைரை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய மகன் என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்; கிறிஸ்தவர்கள் (ஈஸா) மஸீஹை அல்லாஹ்வுடைய மகன் என்று கூறுகிறார்கள்; இது அவர்கள் வாய்களால் கூறும் கூற்றேயாகும்; இவர்களுக்கு, முன்னிருந்த நிராகரிப்போரின் கூற்றுக்கு இவர்கள் ஒத்துப்போகிறார்கள்; அல்லாஹ் அவர்களை அழிப்பானாக! எங்கே திருப்பப்படுகிறார்கள்?
