وَمَآ اَرْسَلْنَا مِنْ قَبْلِكَ اِلَّا رِجَالًا نُّوْحِيْٓ اِلَيْهِمْ مِّنْ اَهْلِ الْقُرٰىۗ اَفَلَمْ يَسِيْرُوْا فِى الْاَرْضِ فَيَنْظُرُوْا كَيْفَ كَانَ عَاقِبَةُ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِمْۗ وَلَدَارُ الْاٰخِرَةِ خَيْرٌ لِّلَّذِيْنَ اتَّقَوْاۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ  ( يوسف: ١٠٩ )

(the) people

ٱلْقُرَىٰٓۗ
(of) the townships
城市的
afalam
أَفَلَمْ
So have not
不|然后|吗?

يَسِيرُوا۟
they traveled
他们旅行
fī
فِى
in
在
l-arḍi
ٱلْأَرْضِ
the earth
大地
fayanẓurū
فَيَنظُرُوا۟
and seen
他们看见|然后
kayfa
كَيْفَ
how
如何？
kāna
كَانَ
was
它是
ʿāqibatu
عَٰقِبَةُ
(the) end
结局
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
(of) those who
那些人的
min
مِن
(were) before them?
从
qablihim
قَبْلِهِمْۗ
(were) before them?
他们的|之前
waladāru
وَلَدَارُ
And surely the home
住所|必定|和
l-ākhirati
ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ
(of) the Hereafter
后世的
khayrun
خَيْرٌ
(is) best
更好
lilladhīna
لِّلَّذِينَ
for those who
那些人|对
ittaqaw
ٱتَّقَوْا۟ۗ
fear Allah
他们敬畏
afalā
أَفَلَا
Then will not
不|然后|吗?
taʿqilūna
تَعْقِلُونَ
you use reason?
你们理解

Wa maaa arsalnaa min qablika illaa rijaalan nooheee ilaihim min ahlil quraa; afalam yaseeroo fil ardi fa yanzuroo kaifa kaana 'aaqibatul lazeena min qablihim; wa la Daarul Aakhirati Khairul lillazeenat taqaw; afalaa ta'qiloon (Yūsuf 12:109)

English Sahih:

And We sent not before you [as messengers] except men to whom We revealed from among the people of cities. So have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? And the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah; then will you not reason? (Yusuf [12] : 109)

Ma Jian (Simplified):

在你之前，我只派遣了城市居民中的若干男子，我启示他们。难道他们没有在大地上旅行，因而观察前人的结局是怎样的吗？后世的住所，对于敬畏者是更好的。难道你们不理解吗？ (优素福 [12] : 109)

1 Mokhtasar Chinese

使者啊！在你之前，我所派遣的都是一些来自城市的男子，而不是天使。我启示他们，就像我启示你一样。他们的族人否认使者，我就毁灭了他们。难道这些否认者没有在大地上旅行，因而观察否认者的结局并吸取教训吗？后世的恩泽对于在今世敬畏的人是更好的。你们怎么不理解呢？你们当敬畏真主，服从真主的命令——最大的命令就是信仰，远离真主的禁令——最大的禁令就是以物配主。
