۞ لَيْسَ الْبِرَّاَنْ تُوَلُّوْا وُجُوْهَكُمْ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ وَلٰكِنَّ الْبِرَّ مَنْ اٰمَنَ بِاللّٰهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْاٰخِرِ وَالْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةِ وَالْكِتٰبِ وَالنَّبِيّٖنَ ۚ وَاٰتَى الْمَالَ عَلٰى حُبِّهٖ ذَوِى الْقُرْبٰى وَالْيَتٰمٰى وَالْمَسٰكِيْنَ وَابْنَ السَّبِيْلِۙ وَالسَّاۤىِٕلِيْنَ وَفىِ الرِّقَابِۚ وَاَقَامَ الصَّلٰوةَ وَاٰتَى الزَّكٰوةَ ۚ وَالْمُوْفُوْنَ بِعَهْدِهِمْ اِذَا عَاهَدُوْا ۚ وَالصّٰبِرِيْنَ فِى الْبَأْسَاۤءِ وَالضَّرَّاۤءِ وَحِيْنَ الْبَأْسِۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ الَّذِيْنَ صَدَقُوْا ۗوَاُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الْمُتَّقُوْنَ ( البقرة: ١٧٧ )

It is not

ٱلْبِرَّ
[the] righteousness
正义
tuwallū
تُوَلُّوا۟
you turn
你们转向
wujūhakum
وُجُوهَكُمْ
your faces
你们的|众脸
l-mashriqi
ٱلْمَشْرِقِ
the east
东方的
wal-maghribi
وَٱلْمَغْرِبِ
and the west
西方的|和
walākinna
وَلَٰكِنَّ
[and] but
但是|和
l-bira
ٱلْبِرَّ
the righteous[ness]
正义
āmana
ءَامَنَ
believes
他诚信
bil-lahi
بِٱللَّهِ
in Allah
真主|在
wal-yawmi
وَٱلْيَوْمِ
and the Day
日子|和
l-ākhiri
ٱلْءَاخِرِ
[the] Last
最后的
wal-malāikati
وَٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ
and the Angels
众天使|和
wal-kitābi
وَٱلْكِتَٰبِ
and the Book
众经典|和
wal-nabiyīna
وَٱلنَّبِيِّۦنَ
and the Prophets
众先知|和
waātā
وَءَاتَى
and gives
他给|和
l-māla
ٱلْمَالَ
the wealth
财产
ḥubbihi
حُبِّهِۦ
spite of his love (for it)
他的|喜爱
l-qur'bā
ٱلْقُرْبَىٰ
(of) the near relatives
亲戚关系的
wal-yatāmā
وَٱلْيَتَٰمَىٰ
and the orphans
众孤儿|和
wal-masākīna
وَٱلْمَسَٰكِينَ
and the needy
贫民|和
wa-ib'na
وَٱبْنَ
and (of)
期间|和
l-sabīli
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
the wayfarer
旅行的
wal-sāilīna
وَٱلسَّآئِلِينَ
and those who ask
众乞丐|和
l-riqābi
ٱلرِّقَابِ
freeing the necks (slaves)
赎取众奴隶
wa-aqāma
وَأَقَامَ
and (who) establish
他谨守|和
l-ṣalata
ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
the prayer
拜功
waātā
وَءَاتَى
and give
他完纳|和
l-zakata
ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ
the zakah
天课
wal-mūfūna
وَٱلْمُوفُونَ
and those who fulfill
履行|和
biʿahdihim
بِعَهْدِهِمْ
their covenant
他们的|约言|在
ʿāhadū
عَٰهَدُوا۟ۖ
they make it
他们承诺
wal-ṣābirīna
وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ
and those who are patient
他们忍受|和
l-basāi
ٱلْبَأْسَآءِ
[the] suffering
逆境
wal-ḍarāi
وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ
and [the] hardship
苦难|和
waḥīna
وَحِينَ
at (the) time
期间|和
l-basi
ٱلْبَأْسِۗ
(of) [the] stress
危险的
ulāika
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
这等人
alladhīna
ٱلَّذِينَ
(are) the ones who
那些人
ṣadaqū
صَدَقُوا۟ۖ
are true
他们忠贞
wa-ulāika
وَأُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
and those
这等人|和
l-mutaqūna
ٱلْمُتَّقُونَ
(are) the righteous
众敬畏的
Laisal birra an tuwalloo wujoohakum qibalal mashriqi walmaghribi wa laakinnal birra man aamana billaahi wal yawmil aakhiri wal malaaa 'ikati wal kitaabi wan nabiyyeena wa aatalmaala 'alaa hubbihee zawilqurbaa walyataa maa walmasaakeena wabnas sabeeli wassaaa'ileena wa firriqaabi wa aqaamas salaata wa aataz zakaata walmoofoona bi ahdihim izaa 'aahadoo wasaabireena fil baasaaa'i waddarraaa'i wa heenal baas; ulaaa'ikal lazeena sadaqoo wa ulaaa 'ika humul muttaqoon (al-Baq̈arah 2:177 )
English Sahih: Righteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah, the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives Zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous. (Al-Baqarah [2] : 177 )
Ma Jian (Simplified):
你们把自己的脸转向东方和西方，都不是正义。正义是信安拉、末日、天使、经典、先知，并将所爱的财产施济亲戚、孤儿、贫民、旅客、乞丐和赎取奴隶，并谨守拜功，完纳天课，履行约言，忍受穷困、患难和战争。这等人，确是忠贞的；这等人，确是敬畏的。 (黄牛 [2] : 177 )

1 Mokhtasar Chinese真主满意的正义不是只将脸转向东方、西方或是其它任何方向，而应是信仰真主独一；信仰后世；信仰一切的天使；信仰降示的一切经典；一视同仁地信仰所有的先知们，并将所喜爱所珍惜的财产施济于近亲、孤儿、所需者、远离家乡的异乡人以及乞丐；释放奴隶和战俘；园满地完成拜功；交纳应交付的天课；履行诺言；忍受穷困、患难和疾病，不临阵脱逃。具有这等品质之人，他们在信仰和行为上践行对真主的忠贞。这等人，他们是顺从真主命令，放弃真主禁令的敬畏之人。
