وَلٰكِنَّآ اَنْشَأْنَا قُرُوْنًا فَتَطَاوَلَ عَلَيْهِمُ الْعُمُرُۚ وَمَا كُنْتَ ثَاوِيًا فِيْٓ اَهْلِ مَدْيَنَ تَتْلُوْا عَلَيْهِمْ اٰيٰتِنَاۙ وَلٰكِنَّا كُنَّا مُرْسِلِيْنَ ( القصص: ٤٥ )
walākinnā
وَلَٰكِنَّآ
But We

أَنشَأْنَا
[We] produced
我们创造
qurūnan
قُرُونًا
generations
众世代
fataṭāwala
فَتَطَاوَلَ
and prolonged
它漫长|然后
ʿalayhimu
عَلَيْهِمُ
for them

l-ʿumuru
ٱلْعُمُرُۚ
the life
众年
wamā
وَمَا
And not
不|和
kunta
كُنتَ
you were
你是
thāwiyan
ثَاوِيًا
a dweller
一个居民
fī
فِىٓ
among
在
ahli
أَهْلِ
(the) people
人们
madyana
مَدْيَنَ
(of) Madyan
麦德彦的
tatlū
تَتْلُوا۟
reciting
你宣读
ʿalayhim
عَلَيْهِمْ
to them
他们|在
āyātinā
ءَايَٰتِنَا
Our Verses
我们的|众迹象
walākinnā
وَلَٰكِنَّا
but We
我们|但是|和
kunnā
كُنَّا
[We] were
我们是
mur'silīna
مُرْسِلِينَ
the Senders
派遣众使者
Wa laakinnaa anshaanaa quroonan fatataawala 'alaihimul 'umur; wa maa kunta saawiyan feee ahli Madyana tatloo 'alaihim Aayaatinaa wa laakinnaa kunnaa mursileen (al-Q̈aṣaṣ 28:45)
English Sahih:
But We produced [many] generations [after Moses], and prolonged was their duration. And you were not a resident among the people of Madyan, reciting to them Our verses, but We were senders [of this message]. (Al-Qasas [28] : 45)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
但我创造了许多世纪，那些世代曾经过漫长的岁月。你没有居住在麦德彦人之间，对他们宣读我的迹象，但我是派遣使者的。 (故事 [28] : 45)
