اَمَّنْ هُوَ قَانِتٌ اٰنَاۤءَ الَّيْلِ سَاجِدًا وَّقَاۤىِٕمًا يَّحْذَرُ الْاٰخِرَةَ وَيَرْجُوْا رَحْمَةَ رَبِّهٖۗ قُلْ هَلْ يَسْتَوِى الَّذِيْنَ يَعْلَمُوْنَ وَالَّذِيْنَ لَا يَعْلَمُوْنَ ۗ اِنَّمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ اُولُوا الْاَلْبَابِ ࣖ  ( الزمر: ٩ )

Amman huwa qaanitun aanaaa'al laili saajidanw wa qaaa'imai yahzarul Aakhirata wa yarjoo rahmata Rabbih; qul hal yastawil lazeena ya'lamoona wallazeena laa ya'lamoon; innamaa yatazakkaru ulul albaab (az-Zumar 39:9)

English Sahih:

Is one who is devoutly obedient during periods of the night, prostrating and standing [in prayer], fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord, [like one who does not]? Say, "Are those who know equal to those who do not know?" Only they will remember [who are] people of understanding. (Az-Zumar [39] : 9)

Ma Jian (Simplified):

(景况更好的,是你呢?)还是在夜间专心事主,叩头立正,谨防后世,希望主恩的人呢?”你说:“有知识的与无知识的相等吗?惟有理智的人能觉悟。” (队伍 [39] : 9)

哪个更好呢?是顺从真主、夜间叩头、力行功修、谨防后世、渴望主的恩泽者呢?还是在需要时才崇拜真主、一旦得救就不信道、并为真主树立匹配者呢?使者啊!你说:“因为知道真主而完成其制定的义务者与对此一无所知者能相等吗?只有心智健全者知道这两者的区别。”
