ثَمٰنِيَةَ اَزْوَاجٍۚ مِنَ الضَّأْنِ اثْنَيْنِ وَمِنَ الْمَعْزِ اثْنَيْنِۗ قُلْ ءٰۤالذَّكَرَيْنِ حَرَّمَ اَمِ الْاُنْثَيَيْنِ اَمَّا اشْتَمَلَتْ عَلَيْهِ اَرْحَامُ الْاُنْثَيَيْنِۗ نَبِّئُوْنِيْ بِعِلْمٍ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ صٰدِقِيْنَ ( الأنعام: ١٤٣ )
Samaaniyata azwaaj minad daanis naini wa minal ma'zis nain; qul 'aazzaka raini harrama amil unsaiyayni ammash tamalat 'alaihi arhaamul unsayaini nabbi 'oonee bi'ilmin in kuntum saadiqeen (al-ʾAnʿām 6:143)
English Sahih:
[They are] eight mates – of the sheep, two and of the goats, two. Say, "Is it the two males He has forbidden or the two females or that which the wombs of the two females contain? Inform me with knowledge, if you should be truthful." (Al-An'am [6] : 143)
Ma Jian (Simplified):
（他创造了）八只牲畜：两只绵羊、两只山羊，你说：“安拉只以两只公的为禁物呢？还是只以两只母的为禁物呢？还是只以两只母的所孕育的为禁物呢？你们依真知灼见而告诉我吧，如果你们是诚实的人！” (牲畜 [6] : 143)
