قَالَ اَرَاَيْتَكَ هٰذَا الَّذِيْ كَرَّمْتَ عَلَيَّ لَىِٕنْ اَخَّرْتَنِ اِلٰى يَوْمِ الْقِيٰمَةِ لَاَحْتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهٗٓ اِلَّا قَلِيْلًا ( الإسراء: ٦٢ )
Qāla 'Ara'aytaka Hādhā Al-Ladhī Karramta `Alayya La'in 'Akhkhartanī 'Ilaá Yawmi Al-Qiyāmati La'aĥtanikanna Dhurrīyatahu 'Illā Qalīlāan. (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:62)

Er sagte; "Was meinst Du wohl von diesem, den Du höher geehrt hast als mich? Wenn Du mich bis zum Tag der Auferstehung zurückstellst, werde ich seiner Nachkommenschaft bis auf wenige ganz gewiß die Zügel anlegen." ([17] al-Isra (Die Nachtreise) : 62)
English Sahih:
[Iblees] said, "Do You see this one whom You have honored above me? If You delay me [i.e., my death] until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely destroy his descendants, except for a few." ([17] Al-Isra : 62)
