وَّاَصْحٰبُ مَدْيَنَۚ وَكُذِّبَ مُوْسٰى فَاَمْلَيْتُ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ ثُمَّ اَخَذْتُهُمْۚ فَكَيْفَ كَانَ نَكِيْرِ ( الحج: ٤٤ )
And the inhabitants
وَأَصْحَٰبُ
Und (die) Bewohner
(of) Madyan
مَدْيَنَۖ
Madyans.
And Musa was denied
وَكُذِّبَ
Und der Lüge bezichtigt wurde
And Musa was denied
مُوسَىٰ
Musa,
so I granted respite
فَأَمْلَيْتُ
so gewährte ich Aufschub
to the disbelievers
لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
für die Ungläubigen,
then
ثُمَّ
hierauf
I seized them
أَخَذْتُهُمْۖ
ergriff ich sie.
and how
فَكَيْفَ
So wie
was
كَانَ
war
My punishment
نَكِيرِ
meine Missbilligung.
Wa 'Aşĥābu Madyana Wa Kudhdhiba Mūsaá Fa'amlaytu Lilkāfirīna Thumma 'Akhadhtuhum Fakayfa Kāna Nakīri. (al-Ḥajj 22:44)

und die Bewohner von Madyan. Auch Musa wurde der Lüge bezichtigt. Da gewährte Ich den Ungläubigen Aufschub, hierauf ergriff Ich sie. Wie war da Meine Mißbilligung! ([22] al-Hagg (Die Pilgerfahrt) : 44)
English Sahih:
And the inhabitants of Madyan. And Moses was denied, so I prolonged enjoyment for the disbelievers; then I seized them, and how [terrible] was My reproach. ([22] Al-Hajj : 44)
