يُنَادُوْنَهُمْ اَلَمْ نَكُنْ مَّعَكُمْۗ قَالُوْا بَلٰى وَلٰكِنَّكُمْ فَتَنْتُمْ اَنْفُسَكُمْ وَتَرَبَّصْتُمْ وَارْتَبْتُمْ وَغَرَّتْكُمُ الْاَمَانِيُّ حَتّٰى جَاۤءَ اَمْرُ اللّٰهِ وَغَرَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُوْرُ ( الحديد: ١٤ )
Yunādūnahum 'Alam Nakun Ma`akum Qālū Balaá Wa Lakinnakum Fatantum 'Anfusakum Wa Tarabbaştum Wa Artabtum Wa Gharratkumu Al-'Amānīyu Ĥattaá Jā'a 'Amru Allāhi Wa Gharrakum Billāhi Al-Gharūru. (al-Ḥadīd 57:14)

Sie rufen ihnen zu; "Waren wir nicht mit euch?" Sie werden sagen; "Ja doch, aber ihr habt euch selbst der Versuchung ausgesetzt, ihr habt abgewartet und gezweifelt, und die Wünsche haben euch getäuscht, bis Allahs Befehl kam. Und getäuscht hat euch hinsichtlich Allahs der Täuscher. ([57] al-Hadid (Das Eisen) : 14)
English Sahih:
They [i.e., the hypocrites] will call to them [i.e., the believers], "Were we not with you?" They will say, "Yes, but you afflicted yourselves and awaited [misfortune for us] and doubted, and wishful thinking deluded you until there came the command of Allah. And the Deceiver [i.e., Satan] deceived you concerning Allah. ([57] Al-Hadid : 14)

Sie rufen sie; "Waren wir nicht mit euch?" Sie sagten; "Doch, mit Sicherheit! Aber ihr habt euch selbst der Fitna überlassen, abgewartet und angezweifelt, und euch täuschten die Hoffnungen, bis ALLAHs Anweisung kam. Und euch täuschte ALLAH gegenüber das Täuschende.
