لِّكَيْلَا تَأْسَوْا عَلٰى مَا فَاتَكُمْ وَلَا تَفْرَحُوْا بِمَآ اٰتٰىكُمْ ۗوَاللّٰهُ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍۙ ( الحديد: ٢٣ )
So that you may not
لِّكَيْلَا
damit nicht
grieve
تَأْسَوْا۟
ihr betrübt seid
over
عَلَىٰ
über
what
مَا
was
has escaped you
فَاتَكُمْ
euch entgangen ist
and (do) not
وَلَا
und nicht
exult
تَفْرَحُوا۟
euch freut
at what
بِمَآ
über was
He has given you
ءَاتَىٰكُمْۗ
er euch gegeben hat.
And Allah
وَٱللَّهُ
Und Allah
(does) not
لَا
nicht
love
يُحِبُّ
liebt
every
كُلَّ
wer
self-deluded
مُخْتَالٍ
(ist) eingebildet,
boaster
فَخُورٍ
prahlerisch,
Likaylā Ta'saw `Alaá Mā Fātakum Wa Lā Tafraĥū Bimā 'Ātākum Wa Allāhu Lā Yuĥibbu Kulla Mukhtālin Fakhūrin. (al-Ḥadīd 57:23)

damit ihr nicht betrübt seid über das, was euch entgangen ist, und euch nicht (zu sehr) freut über das, was Er euch gegeben hat. Und Allah liebt niemanden, der eingebildet und prahlerisch ist, ([57] al-Hadid (Das Eisen) : 23)
English Sahih:
In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful – ([57] Al-Hadid : 23)
