قُلْ لَّوْ شَاۤءَ اللّٰهُ مَا تَلَوْتُهٗ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَآ اَدْرٰىكُمْ بِهٖ ۖفَقَدْ لَبِثْتُ فِيْكُمْ عُمُرًا مِّنْ قَبْلِهٖۗ اَفَلَا تَعْقِلُوْنَ  ( يونس: ١٦ )

faqad
فَقَدْ
Verily
labith'tu
لَبِثْتُ
I have stayed
fīkum
فِيكُمْ
among you
ʿumuran
عُمُرًا
a lifetime
min
مِّن
before it
qablihi
قَبْلِهِۦٓۚ
before it
afalā
أَفَلَا
Then will not
taʿqilūna
تَعْقِلُونَ
you use reason?"

Qul law shaaa'al laahu maa talawtuhoo 'alaikum wa laaa adraakum bihee faqad labistu feekum 'umuram min qablih; afalaa ta'qiloon (al-Yūnus 10:16)

Sahih International:

Say, "If Allah had willed, I would not have recited it to you, nor would He have made it known to you, for I had remained among you a lifetime before it. Then will you not reason?" (Yunus [10] : 16)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Say, “Had Allah so willed, I would have not recited it to you, nor would He have let you know it. Then, I have lived among you for years before it. Have you, then, no sense?”
