Al-Isra Verse 109

And they fall down upon their faces weeping, and it increases them in humility.”

They fall down on their faces weeping, and it increases their humility.”

They fall down on their faces, weeping, and [the Quran] increases their humility.’

And they fall down on their chins weeping, and it increaseth them in humility.

They fall down on their faces weeping and (as they listen to the divine words) it adds to their humility. [Prostration]

And they fall down to the chins/beards weeping and He/it (the weeping) increases them humbleness/submission .

And they fall down on their faces weeping, and this Qur’an increases their humility. (Command of prostration # 4).

They fall down upon their faces weeping, and it increases their humility.

And they fall down on their faces weeping and it adds to their humility.

And say: Glory to our Lord! Surely the promise of our Lord was to be fulfilled.

And they fall down on their faces weeping, and it adds to their humility.

They fall down on their faces, weeping, and it increaseth humility in them.

They bow down in prostration and weep and it makes them more humble (before the Lord).

They fall down upon their chin, weeping and it increases them in humility.

And they fall down on their chins (faces) weeping and it increases their humility.

They fall down upon their faces weeping, and [the Quran] increases their humility."

And they fall to their chins, weeping, and it adds to their humility.

And they fall down on their faces, weeping (yabkna is a supplement [to yakhirrna, `they fall down'] also containing an adjectival qualification [of those falling down]); and it, the Qur'n, increases them in humility', in humbleness before God.

وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ

And they fall down on their chins (faces) weeping,

means, in submission to Allah, may He be glorified, and in expression of their belief and faith in His Book and His Messenger.

وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا



and it increases their humility.

means, it increases them in faith and submission.

As Allah says;

وَالَّذِينَ اهْتَدَوْاْ زَادَهُمْ هُدًى وَءَاتَـهُمْ تَقُوَاهُمْ

While as for those who accept guidance, He increases their guidance and bestows on them their Taqwa. (47;17)

وَيَخِرُّونَ
(And they fall down),

is a description rather than an action (i.e., this is a further description of their humility as referred to in Ayah 107; it does not imply that they prostrate twice)
