وَلَا تَقْرَبُوْا مَالَ الْيَتِيْمِ اِلَّا بِالَّتِيْ هِيَ اَحْسَنُ حَتّٰى يَبْلُغَ اَشُدَّهٗۖ وَاَوْفُوْا بِالْعَهْدِۖ اِنَّ الْعَهْدَ كَانَ مَسْـُٔوْلًا  ( الإسراء: ٣٤ )

walā
وَلَا
And (do) not
taqrabū
تَقْرَبُوا۟
come near
māla
مَالَ
(the) wealth
l-yatīmi
ٱلْيَتِيمِ
(of) the orphan
illā
إِلَّا
except
bi-allatī
بِٱلَّتِى
with what
hiya
هِىَ
[it] is
aḥsanu
أَحْسَنُ
best
ḥattā
حَتَّىٰ
until
yablugha
يَبْلُغَ
he reaches
ashuddahu
أَشُدَّهُۥۚ
his maturity
wa-awfū
وَأَوْفُوا۟
And fulfil
bil-ʿahdi
بِٱلْعَهْدِۖ
the covenant
inna
إِنَّ
Indeed
l-ʿahda
ٱلْعَهْدَ
the covenant
kāna
كَانَ
will be
masūlan
مَسْـُٔولًا
questioned

Wa laa taqraboo maalal yateemi illaa billatee hiya ahsanu hattaa yablugha ashuddah; wa awfoo bil'ahd, innal 'ahda kaana mas'oolaa (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:34)

Sahih International:

And do not approach the property of an orphan, except in the way that is best, until he reaches maturity. And fulfill [every] commitment. Indeed, the commitment is ever [that about which one will be] questioned. (Al-Isra [17] : 34)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

Do not go near the property of an orphan, except in a manner that is good, until he comes to his maturity. And fulfill the covenant. Surely, the covenant shall be asked about (on the Day of Reckoning).
