عَسٰى رَبُّكُمْ اَنْ يَّرْحَمَكُمْۚ وَاِنْ عُدْتُّمْ عُدْنَاۘ وَجَعَلْنَا جَهَنَّمَ لِلْكٰفِرِيْنَ حَصِيْرًا   ( الإسراء: ٨ )

ʿasā
عَسَىٰ
"(It) may be
rabbukum
رَبُّكُمْ
that your Lord
an
أَن
that your Lord
yarḥamakum
يَرْحَمَكُمْۚ
(may) have mercy upon you
wa-in
وَإِنْ
But if
ʿudttum
عُدتُّمْ
you return
ʿud'nā
عُدْنَاۘ
We will return
wajaʿalnā
وَجَعَلْنَا
And We have made
jahannama
جَهَنَّمَ
Hell
lil'kāfirīna
لِلْكَٰفِرِينَ
for the disbelievers
ḥaṣīran
حَصِيرًا
a prison-bed"

'Asaa rabbukum anyyarhamakum; wa in 'uttum 'udnaa; wa ja'alnaa jahannama lilkaafireena haseera (al-ʾIsrāʾ 17:8)

Sahih International:

[Then Allah said], "It is expected, [if you repent], that your Lord will have mercy upon you. But if you return [to sin], We will return [to punishment]. And We have made Hell, for the disbelievers, a prison-bed." (Al-Isra [17] : 8)

May be your Lord would bestow mercy upon you. But if you do this again, We shall do that again, and We have made Jahannam (Hell) a prison for the disbelievers.”
