وَنُوْحًا اِذْ نَادٰى مِنْ قَبْلُ فَاسْتَجَبْنَا لَهٗ فَنَجَّيْنٰهُ وَاَهْلَهٗ مِنَ الْكَرْبِ الْعَظِيْمِ ۚ  ( الأنبياء: ٧٦ )

وَنُوحًا
And Nuh

إِذْ

نَادَىٰ
he called

مِن

qablu
قَبْلُ
before
fa-is'tajabnā
فَٱسْتَجَبْنَا
so We responded
lahu
لَهُۥ
to him
fanajjaynāhu
فَنَجَّيْنَٰهُ
and We saved him
wa-ahlahu
وَأَهْلَهُۥ
and his family
mina
مِنَ
from
l-karbi
ٱلْكَرْبِ
the affliction
l-ʿaẓīmi
ٱلْعَظِيمِ
[the] great

Wa noohan iz naadaa min qablu fastajabnaa lahoo fanajjainaahu wa ahlahoo minal karbil 'azeem (al-ʾAnbiyāʾ 21:76)

Sahih International:

And [mention] Noah, when he called [to Allah] before [that time], so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the great affliction [i.e., the flood]. (Al-Anbya [21] : 76)

1 Mufti Taqi Usmani

And (remember) NūH, when he called (for help) earlier, so We responded to him and saved him and his family from the terrible agony,
