Al-Mu'minun Verse 62

We never require of any soul more than what it can afford. And with Us is a record which speaks the truth. None will be wronged.

We do not burden a soul more than what it can bear. We have a Record [of their deeds] that tells the truth, and none will be wronged.

We charge not any soul save to its capacity, and with Us is a Book speaking truth, and they shall not be wronged.

We do not burden any soul with more than it can bear- We have a Record that tells the truth- they will not be wronged.

And We task not any soul except according to its capacity, and with Us is a book speaking with truth, and they will not be wronged.

On no soul do We place a burden greater than it can bear; before Us is a record which clearly shows the truth; they will never be wronged.

We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged.

We do not burden a soul beyond capacity, for We have a record that tells the truth. No wrong will be done to any one.

And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book* that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.)

We task no soul except according to its capacity, and with Us is a book that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.

(No one, especially those unbelievers, should think that there is something superhuman required of humanity. For) We do not burden any soul except within its capacity, and with Us is a record that speaks the truth (about the deeds, thoughts, and intentions of each individual). They will in no wise be wronged.

And We do not lay down responsibility upon any soul beyond its capacity and We have a book (of law) which speaks and acts justly and no injustice is done to anyone.

And We do not burden/impose (on) a self except its endurance/capacity and at Us (is) a Book (it) speaks/clarifies with the truth , and they are not being caused injustice to/oppressed

And We do not burden any soul beyond its capacity, and with Us is a Book * that speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged. (* The preserved tablet or the record of one’s deeds.)

But We will not oblige a soul beyond its capacity; for with us is a Record that utters the truth, and they shall not be wronged

And We tax not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.

These hasten to good things and they are foremost in attaining them.

And We do not lay on any soul a burden except to the extent of its ability, and with Us is a book which speaks the truth, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.

And we task not any soul beyond its scope, and with Us is a Record which speaketh the truth, and they will not be wronged.

We do not impose on any soul what is beyond its capacity. We have the Book which speaks the truth and no injustice will be done to it.

We charge no soul with more than it can bear. We have a Book with Us which speaks the truth, and they shall not be wronged.

And We task not any person except according to his capacity, and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth, and they will not be wronged.

And We do not task any soul beyond its capacity, what it can bear -- thus he who is not able to pray standing, let him pray sitting down and he who is not able to fast, let him eat; and with Us is a Record that speaks the truth, regarding what it [a soul] has done -- and this [Record] is the Preserved Tablet (al-lawh al-mahfz), wherein deeds are written down; and they, namely, the souls in their acts, will not be wronged, in a single thing thereof, and so nothing is diminished of the reward for good deeds, nor is anything [extra] added to the evil deeds.

The Justice of Allah and the Frivolity of the Idolators

Allah tells;

وَلَا نُكَلِّفُ نَفْسًا إِلاَّ وُسْعَهَا

And We task not any person except according to his capacity,

Allah tells us of His justice towards His servants in this world, in that He does not task any person except according to his capacity, i.e., He does not burden any soul with more than it can bear. On the Day of Resurrection He will call them to account for their deeds, which He has recorded in a written Book from which nothing is omitted.

He says;

وَلَدَيْنَا كِتَابٌ يَنطِقُ بِالْحَقِّ

and with Us is a Record which speaks the truth,

meaning, the Book of deeds

وَهُمْ لَا يُظْلَمُونَ



and they will not be wronged.

means, nothing will be omitted from their record of good deeds. As for evil deeds, He will forgive and overlook many of them in the case of His believing servants.

Then Allah says, denouncing the disbelievers and idolators of the Quraysh

And on no soul do We impose what is beyond its capability nor more than it can bear, and We have a volume in which all records of deeds and actions are kept and it simply speaks like a book and no one shall ever be wronged
