Ash-Shu'ara Verse 88

the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit.

the Day when neither wealth nor children will be of any avail,

the day when neither wealth nor sons shall profit

the Day when neither wealth nor children can help,

The Day whereon will profit neither substance nor sons.

"The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

the Day when nothing will avail, neither wealth nor offspring,

The day when neither wealth nor children will be of any avail

“The day when neither wealth will benefit nor will sons.”

the day when neither wealth nor children will avail,

"The Day when neither wealth will be of any use, nor offspring,

`The day when wealth will not avail, nor sons (be of any good),

A day/time property/possession and nor sons/sons and daughters do not benefit.

“The day when neither wealth will benefit nor will sons.”

"And disgrace me not on the Day when they are raised;

The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

And forgive my sire, surely he is of the erring ones,

The day on which property will not avail, nor sons

The day when wealth and sons avail not (any man)

on the Day of Judgment when neither wealth nor children will be of any benefit

The Day when neither wealth nor sons shall benefit

The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

the Day when wealth and sons will be of no avail,

The Day when neither wealth nor children will help.

of which [day] God, exalted be He, says [the following]; the day when neither wealth nor children will avail, anyone,

The Day whereon neither wealth nor sons will avail,

means, a man's wealth will not protect him from the punishment of Allah, even if he were to pay a ransom equivalent to an earth full of gold.

وَلَا بَنُونَ
(nor sons),

means, `or if you were to pay a ransom of all the people on earth.'

On that Day nothing will be of any avail except faith in Allah and sincere devotion to Him, and renunciation of Shirk and its people.

Allah says;

إِلاَّ مَنْ أَتَى اللَّهَ بِقَلْبٍ سَلِيمٍ
