قُلْ مَا سَاَلْتُكُمْ مِّنْ اَجْرٍ فَهُوَ لَكُمْۗ اِنْ اَجْرِيَ اِلَّا عَلَى اللّٰهِ ۚوَهُوَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ شَهِيْدٌ ( سبإ: ٤٧ )

(is) my payment

إِلَّا

ʿalā
عَلَى
from
l-lahi
ٱللَّهِۖ
Allah
wahuwa
وَهُوَ
And He
ʿalā
عَلَىٰ
(is) over
kulli
كُلِّ
all
shayin
شَىْءٍ
things
shahīdun
شَهِيدٌ
a Witness"
Qul maa sa-altukum min ajrin fahuwa lakum in ajriya illaa 'alal laahi wa Huwa 'alaa kullin shai-in Shaheed (Sabaʾ 34:47)
Sahih International:
Say, "Whatever payment I might have asked of you – it is yours. My payment is only from Allah, and He is, over all things, Witness." (Saba [34] : 47)
1 Mufti Taqi Usmani
Say, “If I had ever claimed any reward from you, then it is yours. My reward is with none but Allah. And He is witness over every thing.”
