Ya-Sin Verse 55

Indeed, on that Day the residents of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves.

Indeed, on that Day the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves,

See, the inhabitants of Paradise today are busy in their rejoicing,

The people of Paradise today are happily occupied-

Verily the fellows of the Garden to-day shall be happily employed.

Verily the Companions of the Garden shall that Day have joy in all that they do;

Indeed, the people of Paradise will be busy enjoying themselves:

Surely the inmates of Paradise will be engaged in pastimes.

Indeed this day the dwellers of Paradise are in comfort, with blissful hearts.

Indeed today the inhabitants of paradise rejoice in their engagements

Surely the companions of Paradise will on that Day be in happy occupations enjoying the blessings (of Paradise that God will grant them abundantly out of His grace, in return for their good deeds).

On this Day, the owners of Paradise will be occupied (in their pursuits), rejoicing.

That the Paradises` friends/company the day/today (are) in work/occupation/function enjoying/joyful/humorous.

Indeed this day the dwellers of Paradise are in comfort, with blissful hearts.

Surely the Companions of the Garden shall on that day be in happy occupation.

Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy in joyful things.

So this day no soul is wronged in aught; and you are not rewarded aught but for what you did.

Surely the dwellers of the garden shall on that day be in an occupation quite happy.

Lo! those who merit paradise this day are happily employed,

The dwellers of Paradise on that day will enjoy themselves.

Indeed, the companions of the Garden are this Day busy in their rejoicing.

Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day, will be busy with joyful things.

The people of Paradise shall be happily occupied on that Day,

The inhabitants of Paradise, on that Day, will be happily busy.

Indeed today the inhabitants of Paradise are busy (read f shughlin or f shughulin), [oblivious] to what the inhabitants of the Fire are suffering, [busy] delighting in pleasures such as deflowering virgins -- not busy with anything wearisome, as there is no toil in Paradise -- rejoicing, blissful (fkihna is a second predicate of inna, the first being f shugulin, `busy');

The Life of the People of Paradise

Allah tells,

إِنَّ أَصْحَابَ الْجَنَّةِ الْيَوْمَ

Verily, the dwellers of the Paradise, that Day,

Allah tells us that on the Day of Resurrection, when the people of Paradise have reached the arena of judgement, and have settled in the gardens of Paradise, they will be too preoccupied with their own victory and new life of eternal delights to worry about anyone else.

Al-Hasan Al-Basri and Isma`il bin Abi Khalid said,

"They will be too busy to think about the torment which the people of Hell are suffering.

...
فِي شُغُلٍ فَاكِهُونَ

will be busy with joyful things.

Mujahid said;

"With the delights which they are enjoying."

This was also the view of Qatadah.

Ibn Abbas, may Allah be pleased with him, said,

"This means that they will be rejoicing."
