As-Saffat Verse 20

They will cry, “Oh, woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!”

They will say, “Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!”

and they say, 'Woe, alas for us! This is the Day of Doom.'

and say, ‘Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgement.’

And they will say: Ah! woe be Unto us! this is the Day of Requital.

They will say, "Ah! Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"

They will then say: “Woe for us. This is the Day of Judgement.”

And say: "Ah woe! This is the Day of Reckoning."

And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.”

and say, ‘Woe to us! This is the Day of Retribution!’

And saying: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment!"

And they will say, `O woe be on us! this is the Day of Requital.´

And they said: "Oh our calamity/scandal that, it is the Judgment Day/Resurrection Day ."

And will say, “O our misfortune!” It will be said to them, “This is the Day of Justice.”

And they shall say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Judgment."

They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!"

So it will be but one cry, when lo! they will see.

And they shall say: O woe to us! this is the day of requital.

And say: Ah, woe for us! This is the Day of Judgment.

They will say, "Woe to us!" (They will be told), "This is the day of receiving recompense".

and they will say: 'Woe for us. This is the Day of Recompense'

They will say: "Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!"

They will say, "Woe to us! This is the Day of Reckoning."

They will say, “Woe to us. This is the Day of Judgment.”

And they, the disbelievers, will say, `O (y is for calling attention) woe to us!', [O] our destruction [is here] (waylan is a verbal noun without any [regular] verbal conjugation). And the angels will say to them; `This is the Day of Retribution', the Day of Reckoning and Requital.

The Day of Recompense

Allah tells us what the disbeliever will say on the Day of Resurrection; how they will blame themselves and admit that they wronged themselves in this world. When they see the horrors of the Day of Resurrection with their own eyes, they will be filled with regret at the time when regret will not avail them anything.

وَقَالُوا يَا وَيْلَنَا هَذَا يَوْمُ الدِّينِ



They will say;"Woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense!"

And the angels and the believers will say;

هَذَا يَوْمُ الْفَصْلِ الَّذِي كُنتُمْ بِهِ تُكَذِّبُونَ
