As-Saffat Verse 88

He later looked up to the stars ˹in contemplation˺,[[ His people reportedly made decisions based on constellations, so Abraham (ﷺ) pretended to do the same to convince them he was not able to join them at their pagan feast.]]

He then cast a glance at the stars,

And he cast a glance at the stars,

then he looked up to the stars.

Then he glanced a glance on the stars.

Then did he cast a glance at the Stars.

Then he looked carefully at the stars

Then he looked up at the stars (they worshipped),

He then shot a glance at the stars.

Then he made an observation of the stars

Then (when invited to participate in the religious ceremonies of the people on a festival day) he cast a glance at the stars;

Then he cast a glance at the stars (intimating that their discussion has dragged far into the night);

So he looked/saw a glance/consideration in the stars/planets.

He then shot a glance at the stars.

Then he looked at the stars, looking up once,

Then he cast a glance at the stars (to deceive them),

What is then your idea about the Lord of the worlds?

Then he looked at the stars, looking up once,

And he glanced a glance at the stars

The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars

He cast a glance at the stars

Then he cast a glance at the stars,

He looked up at the stars.

Then he took a glance at the stars.

And he cast a glance at the stars -- to delude them into thinking that he relies on them, so that they would then trust him --

Allah says;

فَنَظَرَ نَظْرَةً فِي النُّجُومِ




فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَقِيمٌ
