يُرِيْدُ اللّٰهُ لِيُبَيِّنَ لَكُمْ وَيَهْدِيَكُمْ سُنَنَ الَّذِيْنَ مِنْ قَبْلِكُمْ وَيَتُوْبَ عَلَيْكُمْ ۗ وَاللّٰهُ عَلِيْمٌ حَكِيْمٌ   ( النساء: ٢٦ )

قَبْلِكُمْ
before you
wayatūba
وَيَتُوبَ
and (to) accept repentance
ʿalaykum
عَلَيْكُمْۗ
from you
wal-lahu
وَٱللَّهُ
And Allah
ʿalīmun
عَلِيمٌ
(is) All-Knowing
ḥakīmun
حَكِيمٌ
All-Wise

Yureedul laahu liyubai yina lakum wa yahdiyakum sunanal lazeena min qablikum wa yatooba 'alaikum; wallaahu 'Aleemun Hakeem (an-Nisāʾ 4:26)

Sahih International:

Allah wants to make clear to you [the lawful from the unlawful] and guide you to the [good] practices of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. (An-Nisa [4] : 26)

Allah intends (through this Qur’ān) to explain to you (the rules) and to guide you to the ways of those (prophets who passed) before you, and to turn graciously towards you. Allah is All-Knowing, All-Wise.
