اَلَمْ تَرَ اِلَى الَّذِيْنَ اُوْتُوْا نَصِيْبًا مِّنَ الْكِتٰبِ يَشْتَرُوْنَ الضَّلٰلَةَ وَيُرِيْدُوْنَ اَنْ تَضِلُّوا السَّبِيْلَۗ  ( النساء: ٤٤ )

يَشْتَرُونَ
purchasing
l-ḍalālata
ٱلضَّلَٰلَةَ
[the] error
wayurīdūna
وَيُرِيدُونَ
and wishing
an
أَن
that
taḍillū
تَضِلُّوا۟
you stray
l-sabīla
ٱلسَّبِيلَ
(from) the way?

Alam tara ilal lazeena ootoo naseebam minal Kitaabi yashtaroonad dalaalata wa yureedoona an tadillus sabeel (an-Nisāʾ 4:44)

Sahih International:

Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scripture, purchasing error [in exchange for it] and wishing you would lose the way? (An-Nisa [4] : 44)

Have you not observed those who have been given a share from the Book? They buy misguidance and wish that you (too) lose the way.
