Adh-Dhariyat Verse 46

And the people of Noah ˹had also been destroyed˺ earlier. They were truly a rebellious people.

And the people of Noah [were also destroyed] before them. They were indeed a rebellious people.

And the people of Noah before; surely they were an ungodly people.

Before that We destroyed the people of Noah. They were a truly sinful people!

And the people of Nuh We destroyed aforetime; verily they were a people transgressing.

So were the People of Noah before them for they wickedly transgressed.

Before all these We destroyed the people of Noah: they were a wicked people.

(So had We destroyed) the people of Noah before them: They were surely a sinful people.

And before them, We destroyed the people of Nooh; they were indeed a sinning nation.

And the people of Noah aforetime. Indeed, they were a transgressing lot.

(And We had destroyed) the people of Noah before. They were a people transgressing (God’s bounds).

And (We destroyed) the people of Noah before (them). They too were disobedient people.

And Noah`s nation from before, that they truly were a nation (of) debauchers .

And before them, We destroyed the people of Nooh; they were indeed a sinning nation.

And the people of Noah (were also a sign) before that, surely they were a transgressing people.

(So were) the people of Nuh (Noah) before them. Verily, they were a people who were Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).

So they were unable to rise up, nor could they defend themselves;

And the people of Nuh before, surely they were a transgressing people.

And the folk of Noah aforetime. Lo! they were licentious folk.

The people of Noah who lived before them were also evil doing people.

And before them the nation of Noah, indeed they were a debauched nation.

(So were) the people of Nuh before them. Verily, they were a people who were rebellious.

[We destroyed] the people of Noah before them. They were certainly a sinful people.

And before that, the people of Noah. They were immoral people.

And the people of Noah (read wa qawmi Nhin, as a supplement to Thamda, in other words; `in the destruction of these [two peoples] by what [destructive power] exists in the heavens and the earth there is [also] a sign'; or read wa qawma Nhin, in other words, `We also destroyed the people of Noah') aforetime, that is, before the destruction of those mentioned. Indeed they were an immoral lot.

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍ مِّن قَبْلُ

(So were) the people of Nuh before them.

meaning, `We destroyed the people of Nuh before these people (Fir`awn, `Ad and Thamud).'

إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا قَوْمًا فَاسِقِينَ



Verily, they were a people who were rebellious.
