At-Tur Verse 34

Let them then produce something like it, if what they say is true![[ Arab pagans were challenged in the Quran to produce its equivalent ({52:34}), or ten sûrahs ({11:13}), or at least one sûrah ({2:23}), but the challenge has never been met. ]]

Then let them produce a discourse like this, if they are truthful.

Then let them bring a discourse like it, if they speak truly.

let them produce one like it, if what they say is true.

Let them bring a discourse like thereUnto, if they say sooth.

Let them then produce a recital like unto it,- If (it be) they speak the truth!

(If they are truthful in this), then let them produce a discourse of similar splendour.

So let them bring a discourse like it, if they are truthful

So let them bring a single discourse like it, if they are truthful.

(If they really believe such a Book can be forged) then, let them produce a Discourse like it, if they are truthful (in their claims).

Let them, then bring forth a discourse like this (Qur´ân) if they are truthful (in their objection).

So they come (E) with an information/speech equal/alike to it, if they were truthful.

So let them bring a single discourse like it, if they are truthful.

Then let them bring an announcement (or recital) like it if they are truthful.

Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful.

Or say they: He has forged it. Nay, they have no faith.

Then let them bring an announcement like it if they are truthful.

Then let them produce speech the like thereof, if they are truthful.

Let them produce a discourse like it if they are true in their claim.

Let them produce a phrase like it, if what they say is true!

Let them then produce a recitation like unto it if they are truthful.

Let them produce a scripture like it, if what they say is true.

So let them produce a discourse like it, if they are truthful.

Then let them bring a, concocted, discourse like it, if they are truthful, in what they say.

Let them then produce a recitation like unto it if they are truthful.

meaning, if they are truthful in their statement that Muhammad has forged this Qur'an and brought it of his own, then let them produce something similar to what he has brought forth, as in this Qur'an! And even if they combine their strength to that of the people of the earth, Jinns and mankind alike, they will never produce something like the Qur'an, or ten Surahs like it, or even one Surah
