Al-Waqi'ah Verse 24

˹all˺ as a reward for what they used to do.

as a reward for what they used to do.

A Reward for the deeds of their past (life).

All this shall be theirs as a reward for their deeds.

As recompense for all they had done.

Reimbursement because (of) what they were making/doing .

a reward (jaz'an is an object denoting reason or a verbal noun, with the operator being an implicit [verb], in other words, `We have appointed for them the mentioned as a reward' or `We have rewarded them [this]') for what they used to do.

meaning, `these delights that We granted them are rewards for the good deeds that they performed (in this life).'

Allah the Exalted said,

لَاا يَسْمَعُونَ فِيهَا لَغْوًا وَلَاا تَأْثِيمًا
