Al-Waqi'ah Verse 41

And the people of the left—how ˹miserable˺ will they be!

And the people of the left – how wretched will be the people of the left!

The Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!)

But those on the Left, what people they are!

And the fellows on the left hand; how miserable Shall the fellows on the left hand be!

The Companions of the Left Hand,- what will be the Companions of the Left Hand?

As for the People on the Left: how miserable will be the People on the Left!

But those of the left hand -- how (unhappy) those of the left hand --

And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left!

And the People of the Left Hand—what are the People of the Left Hand?!

And the people of the Left (who will be given their Records in their left hands): how wretched are the people of the Left!

But as for those that are wretched, how (sad) will be the plight of those that are wretched!

And the left (hand`s) owners/friends/company, (are) the left (hand`s) owners/friends/company ! .

And those on the left – how (wretched) are those on the left!

And those of the left hand; what of those of the Left Hand?

And those on the Left Hand Who will be those on the Left Hand?

And a multitude from among those of later times.

And those of the left hand, how wretched are those of the left hand!

And those on the left hand: What of those on the left hand?

As for the people on the left hand, how miserable they will be!

As for the Companions of the Left

And those on the left How will be those on the left

Those on the Left: how unfortunate are those on the Left!

And those on the Left—what of those on the Left?

And those of the left [hand] -- what of those of the left [hand]?

Those on the Left and Their Recompense

After Allah mentioned the condition of those on the right hand, He then mentioned the condition of those on the left hand,

وَأَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ مَا أَصْحَابُ الشِّمَالِ



And those on the left How will be those on the left,

meaning, `What is the condition of those on the left,'

then explains His statement, by saying
